Co-founder - producer - director - photographer Marguerite Lorimer has gained international recognition over the past 15 years. After retiring from a fulfilling 30-year career in ophthalmology and ophthalmic (retinal) photography Marguerite began working with John, photographing and interviewing traditional elders, wisdom teachers, ceremonial leaders, dancers, innovators and artists from a diversity of cultures. Over time, she has expanded her skills to include graphic design, website design, grant writing, Final Cut Pro editing, scriptwriting, the speaking of narrations, and the authoring of DVDs.
An active member of her Mount Shasta community, Marguerite has a diversity of interests to which she devotes her time. When not photographing, producing or filming with John, she enjoys being outside in beautiful Northern California, cooking and entertaining, studying marketing, and serving on the Board of Directors for Siskiyou County’s Women in Business Network (WIBN) and the Board of Directors for Jefferson Economic Development Institute (JEDI). A former recipient of JEDI’s excellent business services, Marguerite is thrilled to work with this dynamic Siskiyou County non-profit in a new way. Marguerite also innovated and leads Women in Business Network Support, a twice-monthly support-and-education group for women entrepreneurs in southern Siskiyou County.

Marguerite filmed, photographed and co-produced a mini-documentary that was shown during the Dalai Lama’s World Peace Conference in Maimi, Florida, featuring a Tibetan Buddhist Rinpoche’s unique vision about the creation of world peace after the destruction of the ancient Bamiyan Buddha statues in Afghanistan.
