SEASONS  (performances below)

FROM THE REDWOODS (above)

Summoned by the haunting music of 12 Andean flutes, a tree dancer  silently descends from the tip of a giant redwood. The community - gazing upwards from their nest on the forest floor - awaits his arrival.  Click on photos (above) to see the FROM THE REDWOODS slideshow.

Modeled after the love relationships of French sculptor Auguste Rodin, and choreographed by Anna Halprin, this emotional performance by Sea Ranch Collective dancers G. Soto Hoffman (above), Joy Cosculluele, Terre Parker, Iu-Hui (Ue) Chua and Christen Nagler interprets aspects of longing, passion, rejection, forgiveness, and tenderness in the artist’s many relationship.
