Trust... Opening... Release...

An enigmatic dance drama created by Cindy Davis and Lakshmi Aysola and performed by them and other members of Anna Halprin’s Sea Ranch Dance Collective, THE CLEARING unfolds as blindfolded dancers silently emerge from the forest.

Descending into a meadow they are met by a spectacular, unexpected blessing... a sunbeam so brilliant that it releases them from their darkness. Tumbling to the earth, they return to their shadowed retreat.
