H.E. Khempo Yurmed Tinly Rinpoche was a revered Tibetan Buddhist Rinpoche, an internationally respected teacher in the Dzogchen Lineage of Buddhism, and a friend to many people throughout the world. Khempo received his formal education in Tibet and prior to immigrating to the United States was Head Lama for the Royal Family of Bhutan.
A visionary who personally attempted to prevent the destruction of the ancient Bamiyan Buddhas in Afghanistan, Khempo shared his profound knowledge about Interdependent Origination and the creation of world peace. Khempo strongly believed, “There is only one religion: the religion of peace”.
